My feet touch the crumbling ground
My knees tremble like never before
My stomach churns over and over
My heart slows down to match the ticking clock
My hands shake like a feeble branch in the eye of the storm
My head hangs low leaving my mouth parched and dry
Yet my ears hear a soothing song
And my eyes sparkle like a million stars
My tears renew my spirit
And my feet pave a new path moving from strength to strength.
